The Guiness World Records - 'World’s Largest Mosaic Mural Made of Plastic Bottle Caps’

As part of the 48th UAE National Day celebrations GEMS Al Barsha National School for Boys create ‘World’s Largest Mosaic Mural Made of Plastic Bottle Caps’ in Dubai. Students, teachers and parents from GEMS Education gathered to form the ‘World’s Largest Mosaic Mural Made of Plastic Bottle Caps’ forming the phrase ‘Zayed’s Ambitions Embrace Space’. Students worked for a month to produce the mural using 13,434 bottle caps that were all in the UAE flag’s colours.The theme was intended to teach students the importance of celebrating and supporting the UAE’s achievements. Also, students were taught the importance of finding creative ways to recycle and reuse plastic.





The UAE Ministry of Tolerance has started making the world's largest natural flower carpet with 5,000 volunteers from 150 nationalities at the Dubai Festival City.

The event is a Guinness World Record initiative and will continue on 22, 23 and 24 November 2019.The aim of the three-day ‘Flowers of Tolerance’ festival is to commemorate and give global awareness to the virtue of tolerance in the UAE.  For the first time in the history the world will witness more than 150 nationalities laying out the world’s largest fresh flower carpet. The design theme will be highlighting the UAE as a global hub for tolerance.The size of the carpet is expected to be around 100,000 square feet. It was all set to be ready within one hour.  Around 5000 volunteers registered from different regions of the world to take the noble initiative.
