The Ministry of Economy has announced that prices of consumer goods and staple food items in Ramadan will be discounted up to 90 % of their original price across the UAE.
The Sharjah Cooperative Society has also allocated Dh30 million to subsidize 1,000 food items during Ramadan.
The discount period will continue until the end of Ramadan.
