The Dubai Tram will start rolling for passenger service from Wednesday, following its inauguration on Tuesday night (11-11).
The trams will operate for 19 hours a day, Saturday to Thursday, starting at 6.30am and running up to 1.30am past midnight.
On Fridays, the tram service will start from 9am and will continue till 1.30am, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Sunday.
With 11 stops dotting across the 10.6-km network, the trams will run every 10 minutes during peak hours and every 12 minutes during off-peak hours.
