The longest driverless Metro line in the world, Dubai Metro Celebrates its Fifth anniversary.
The Dubai Metro started(09-09-09) with the 52-km Red Line, which covers 29 stations including four underground stations and 24 elevated stations.The Green Line, which spans 23km linking 18 stations, including six underground and 12 elevated stations, was opened in 2011. The number of average daily passengers has increased from 60,000 passengers per day in 2009 to approximately 500,000 passengers per day in 2014.
