Dubai Summer Surprises 2014(DSS)will continue till September 5.

The 17th edition of the Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) will begin today, enhancing the emirate’s position as a family tourism destination. 

Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), DSS 2014 which will be on until September 5 with an exciting calendar of unique attractions, DFRE will be rolling out “The Fun Side of Summer”.

DSS 2014 brings a superb line-up of events led by the World Premieres of the Angry Birds Universe Interactive Experience at Modesh World; The Decepticon Clone Transformers Show at BurJuman and the Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure at City Centre Mirdif and City Centre Deira. A range of engaging family-oriented experiences and activities are ready to be unveiled.

Shoppers spending Dh200 at a participating mall stand the chance to win up to Dh2 million worth of prizes including 6 BMW cars. Raffle draws will be held each week with one person winning a Luxury car every Saturday from August 9 to September 6.  The final week’s draw will see one additional winner walking away with the mega bumper prize of this year’s promotion, a BMW X5!
