The New York Times has named Dubai one of the Top 52 Places to Go in 2014.The newspaper ranked Dubai at number 23. Dubai was selected among cities Seychelles, Cape Town and California.
The article highlighted the winning Expo 2020 bid and Dubai’s Vision for Tourism 2020. It also mentioned other key developments, such as Dubai World Central Al Maktoum International Airport, new hotels and upcoming attractions such as IMG Worlds of Adventure.
Director-General of Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing Helal Saeed Almarri said being chosen as one of the top destinations to visit in 2014 by such a prestigious publication was an honour.
