Celebrate New Year's Eve with Fireworks' Display in Dubai !

Dubai is going for the world record for the grandest fireworks display on New Year’s Eve, over The Palm Jumeirah and The World islands. There will also be spectacular Fireworks show at other locations. You can catch the fireworks on 

• The Palm Jumeirah and Madinat Jumeirah 

        You can witness Dubai’s world record attempt and also the fireworks from the Burj Al Arab.

• Downtown Dubai  

                        You can view the fireworks from Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. If you don't want to miss the spectacular event you are advised to be in Downtown Dubai by 8pm.

• Dubai Festival City

                       The creek side at Dubai Festival City will  the fireworks will be accompanied by a synchronised light and water show.

• Public beaches at JBR and Jumeirah

                  The coastline from Jumeirah Beach Residence, through Umm Suqeim, to Jumeirah is poised to offer views of all of New Dubai’s fireworks.

                 You can catch the celebrations live on Dubai TV, Sama Dubai and Dubai   One. Featuring displays from The Palm Jumeirah and The World, Downtown Dubai and Burj Khalifa, and Burj Al Arab, the channels will be streaming the spectacular show.

                The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will operate the Metro for an extended period, create 13,500 additional parking spaces and add new signage for the smooth movement of traffic on December 31 and January 1 for New Year festivities and fireworks.

               The plan is to ensure smooth traffic flow near The Dubai Mall Burj Khalifa during the celebrations where crowds are expected to gather for the annual fireworks display.

          The team has provided 13,500 additional parking slots near the events area; 8,000 parking at Meydan, 2,500 at the World Trade Centre, 1,500 parking at Residency & Foreigners Affairs Department at Jafiliya, and 1,500 parking at Zaabeel Park,” explained Maitha bin Udai, CEO of RTA Traffic and Roads Agency.
